Add video filters with Studio Effects

Windows Studio Effects are processed on the device. They appear only on PCs with a supported neural processor. If the page is missing, the device does not offer them.

  1. Open Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Cameras and select your camera, or open Quick Settings and look for Studio Effects.
  2. Turn on Background effects, Eye contact, or Automatic framing if you want them.
  3. Open Voice focus to reduce noise on the microphone when that control is listed.
  4. Join a Teams or Camera test and confirm the preview. Effects apply before the app sees the camera, so every app gets the same treatment.
