Sign in to Microsoft 365

1. Go to microsoft365.com or open Word, Excel, or Outlook.
2. Enter the work, school, or personal address that has the subscription. These are different accounts if you have both.
3. Finish the password or Authenticator prompt.
4. If the wrong files appear, select the account picture and sign out, then sign in with the other address.

Personal subscriptions are managed on the Microsoft account. Work and school subscriptions are managed by an admin. Mixing them is the usual reason an app says the license is missing.
